So i tried my hand at creating something nicer.

D d magic item template. This thread is archived. Anyone know of a decent one. A comprehensive list of all official magic items for fifth edition.

A good magic item template for 5e. Magic items in critical role are created by matt himself and he uses a specific spreadsheet template to explain all the details to his players. Ive been having to fill out most of my homebrew magic items in word documents and i would prefer to have some kind of pdf template.

He has some excellent item cards. After searching online for some examples i found dm paul webers blog where he shares all kinds of neat dd resources for dungeon masters. Apparently that one time was a bigger deal than i thought.

Id mentioned before that i only played dd once a long time ago before quarandming for my family. This is the site i first started using when i started creating homebrew for dd. This is an unofficial dd site made by zoltar to collect designer tweets and help players of the best game ever created.

Now you can too thanks to matts generosity in sharing his expert dm knowledge since hes made the template free to everyone to download excel. However the magic item certificates provided with the adventures arent the prettiest. It has a bunch of functions to make creation easier and save timealthough they are easy to use going outside their templates can be quite challenging since its a mix of markup and html.
