Dnd 5e stat block template. Obviously the template is a conglomeration of many different abilities but i wanted to provide the syntaxformatting for all the major components that could be in a block. Melee or ranged weapon attack. 3 to hit reach 5 ft.

For spellcasting lists use to reverse indent. This is an excel template for single column monster stat blocks. It isnt perfect but it captures the feel of a mm stat block without requiring a program or image embedding.

I began this project for myself but figured that i might as well also make it easier for other people to generate their own stat blocks. The biggest pain in the ass with converting third edition stuff into fifth edition stuff is that third edition was all about monsters having class levels. Generate spellcasting dialog easily create spellcasting special trait blocks for innate generic and class specific spellcasters.

Case in point im trying to convert the old spiral of manzessine adventure from dungeon 94 and its got a shit ton of mindflayers with class levels continue reading mind flayer template monster for dungeons. Use to italicize and to bold. Or range 2060 ft one target.

Here are pictures below one is the blank template and the other is a creature that is in my home game inspired by shadowruns bug spirits. Guards include members of a city watch sentries in a citadel or fortified town and the bodyguards of merchants and nobles. Does anyone know of any easily available resources out there on the interwebs.

5e monster stat block template so as i start dming 5e with some friends in the coming weeks i want to get a few printed cards comprising of monster stat blocks to make referencing them much easier. I created this to use in my home 5e game so when i create monsters it is easily accessible.
